ELECTRODE PIN MEASUREMENTS

Pin type meters have long been the standard for the most accurate moisture content readings in wood flooring and subfloors. Electrode pins are pushed into the wood and the conductivity between the pins are read and interpreted by the meter as percentage of moisture content (%MC). Availability of different types of electrodes for a meter makes the device more versatile and can be a deciding factor for choosing a meter.
